The Rise Series

An exceptionally powerful digital series documenting the extraordinary journey following behind the scenes with Paralympic Hopefuls on their road to the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games. Narrated and hosted by 2012 Paralympic Champion and 2011 ESPY Award Winner, Mallory Weggemann, follow episodes highlighting the blood, sweat and tears that these athletes endure on a daily basis in pursuit of representing Team USA at the second largest sporting event in the world in March 2018. Through exclusive access to a diverse array of Paralympians, we will interweave their friendships while emphasizing their individual stories of fighting back and detailing “The Rise” after suffering one of life’s biggest blows.
